Women's Health & Pregnancy

Women's Health refers to comprehensive women’s health care as well as health issues that are unique to women, including:
  • Pregnancy
  • Menopause
  • Conditions of the Female Organs
Be sure to get early and regular prenatal care to ensure you have a healthy pregnancy. You should also get recommended breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bone density screenings.
Our goal is to ensure the health and readiness of all women at every stage of life.

Women's Health Services

The Women’s Health Clinic provides care for general health issues for women of all ages. 

The Scott Women’s Health Clinic specializes in comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care while promoting women’s health and wellness in every stage of life, from adolescence, through childbearing years, and into menopause. We provide a wide range of specialty services, from routine annual screenings, contraception, and preventive health education to minor and major surgical procedures.

We treat abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, infertility, and incontinence, among many other conditions. Services offered include:

Our providers are Gynecologists, a Certified Nurse Midwife, and Nurse Practitioners. Pregnancy tests and injections are not currently available as walk-in services, but please call with your positive test and injection needs so we can schedule appointments. Outpatient and inpatient gynecologic surgeries are conducted at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon and Memorial Hospital East. Emergency Room services are primarily available at St. Elizabeth’s. Consultation services and subspecialty care are coordinated through Washington University in St. Louis and other area specialists as needed. 

We offer prenatal and postnatal care at Scott Women’s Health Clinic. If you are a TRICARE Prime beneficiary, you will receive your prenatal care from the 375th MDG. In partnership with St. Elizabeth’s hospital, we can conveniently provide your prenatal care and meet your delivery needs in one facility. Our obstetricians and midwife will see you through every step of the way, from the moment you find out you’re pregnant, through your delivery, and on to your postpartum appointments.  You may be able to receive your pregnancy care from our O’Fallon Family Medicine team. High risk consultation services are coordinated through Washington University and other area specialists as needed. We do offer high risk pregnancy care for many conditions, including some twin pregnancies and prior cesarean deliveries. For permanent contraceptive or other needs, we partner with Memorial Hospital in Belleville. Both hospitals’ websites have information on their Labor and Delivery units. TRICARE Covered Services

TRICARE covers well-woman exams annually for women under age 65 with no cost-share or copayment. TRICARE offers coverage for many women’s health services, including: Women who are age 65 and older and using TRICARE For Life can still get women’s preventive screenings. Get more information about these and other TRICARE covered services at: https://tricare.mil/coveredservices/isitcovered/.
